HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REGISTER A CC?

IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE WORKLOAD at the Registrar of Companies. 
Currently it takes approx:

For the CC name to be approved, 5 to 8 working days;
For the CC to be registered, 4-6 working days after the name has been approved.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REGISTER FOR TAX? 
Personal and company tax take approx 10 working days.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REGISTER FOR VAT?
This is a more complex registration process and therefore does take longer.

MUST I APPOINT AN ACCOUNTING OFFICER?  
Yes, every cc must appoint an accounting officer. We will accept this position for your cc at no additional cost if we register your new cc.

WHAT IS AN ACCOUNTING OFFICER?
The Accounting Officer is a qualified accountant, registered with an approved accounting body that will assist with the drafting of the year end annual financial statements and help with the completion of income tax returns. We are registered and will accept this position automatically to speed up your registration at no additional cost. The Accounting Officer can be changed at any time after the CC has been registered.

CAN I CHANGE THE REGISTERED DETAILS LATER FOR MY CC?
Yes, you can change any details except for the registration number of the CC. We refer to this as an amendment of the original founding statement. Note that this type of registration may take a few weeks to register as members signatures need to be verified.
